Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

Thanks for checking out this episode of The Dusty Show on WFMU. I am always glad when you stop by. I really enjoyed being in the studio, airing this show. It was a lively accuplaylist with all kinds of topics being bandied about! Even UFO's! I hope I am not being too redundant with one political show after another. I know it is NOT everyone's thing. I love it, personally, and I find this election season to be particularly interesting. I hope you will continue to tune in in the weeks that lay ahead. I can't help but wonder if I might get "punished" a bit for being so political when Marathon rolls around (2 weeks ... yikes!). We'll see. I do hope you will support the show. I still enjoy doing it so much, and lately, I have really enjoyed doing the interviews. Grand Central Station is a new location for me. It has worked out pretty well so far. I have my Marathon Premium pretty well started, but have a little ways to go. It will feature a lot of music I have played on the show in the last year. PLUS a bonus CD of other cool stuff. Not sure what, yet, but it will be good. Maybe I should do a t-shirt? I always think about it, but never seem to get around to it. Drop me a line if you have comments, thoughts, ideas, pertaining to The Dusty Show, or life in general. It's always nice to hear from the listeners. I appreciate the fact that you tune in. Truly. And I thank you for your interest and continued loyalty. I have been doing The Dusty Show in one form or another since 1998. A long time. It's a big part of my life, and hopefully it has become, or will become, a little part of yours. Until next time, take care, and always remember ... CPNYC2.19.16-99 |

And I saw a UFO last October...just standing in a park on a Sunday night at about 7pm, a little flickery light in the sky that started moving this way and that. It wasn't a star, or a planet, or the ISS, or an airplane, or swamp gas..... It was eerie!

WFMU was an incredible influence on teenage me in such a culturally homogenous county.
Trouble is, where the hell to meet?! Newburgh brewery?
