Bok. Bok. There is talk of avian flu in Europe and to keep the chooks in the coop. Also to wear masks. Ever tried putting a mask on a chicken?

Hi all, was tough leaving the "mother ship", but I'm Drummin' (hate the Trouble/Amanda conflict, but there's always the archives...)

Welcome, friends! Glad to have you all aboard. This greeting will serve as a greeting for everyone else who comments too!

Trouble is now my Saturday 9-noon working music. Leads nicely into Mayuko's show. For the main workweek, however, I need RAWK. :)

I am not able to look at that YouTube at the moment, but I'm certainly intrigued.

Heh, I always think of the "Ant and the Aardvark" cartoons that aired in the US. More or less reskinned Roadrunner cartoons, by the same house that did the Pink Panther toons.

Good Velvets here!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:17am

Great Velvets live stuff, got the box after hearing it here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:25am
Amanda:

Haha! I had forgotten about Ant/Aardvark. Note to self to revisit those. That stuff is right up my street.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:25am
listener james from westwood:

Bit of 80s nostalgia in the sound of this 90s track, IMO. Not that that's a bad thing.

Amanda, the A&theA episode with the bottle of Instant Hole particularly cracks me up. "I hate you, Instant Hole!"

Good morning, Amanda and Nazzessesses. I heard Greg Lake of ELP has passed away. RIP

Who was your fav? Desi was super cute. But Billy was an actually good singer.

Oh man, that is sad. RIP Greg Lake. Thanks Ken HP.

I was a huge EC fan right from seeing that first photo/logo of him. I went to see maybe his first US concert and ... the openg act was a trio, i think from NJ. The singer/guitarist was pete Townshed clone. He had a springloaded guitar pivot (like Kiss) on his belt he used just once. Did not recover from that group. I think they were called the Streethearts or something. never did track them down.

I like this Spizzenergi song. I don't know too much about them, but I dig this.

The Cirque du Buffet one is funny because it's true.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:39am

Sadly, on one of my Vegas trips, that LOOSEST CRAPS sign also became horrifically true....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:44am
Amanda:

Hahahaha, oh no! Sorry to hear. It's that mayonnaise in the buffet.

@Ken HP, yes it really was the Moody Blues! They are in the entourage of people who try to confront Homer and Ned for running out on their new wives.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:45am
listener james from westwood:

IIRC a later episode opened with a funeral for Ned's Vegas wife, and her side of the church had showgirls, Gunther & Ernst & Anastasia, and Blue Man Group. So that ep began by demolishing something from a show that began by demolishing something in a previous show. Sometime in 2024: Gunther and Ernst's funeral, attended by lots of stage animals and led by Mister Teeny?
