Didn't have the nerve to take it home so I brought to my best friends house. It immediately took it out of the bag and shoved in front of his mother while she was having coffee. She was understandably irritated.

I think I gave them the buck or so that I had in my pocket and they irritatedly handed four or five records over. I never even listened to it. I was like 9 years old or something.

She was understandably irritated.

	5:40pm Rich in Washington: as I started listening back to Beefheart's back catalog as a youth, I found some of those albums that critics called 'lesser albums' not quite as lesser as I had anticipated.

I think I gave them the buck or so that I had in my pocket and they irritatedly handed four or five records over. I never even listened to it. I was like 9 years old or something.
