Another weekly lesson in great girl group music from Professor GGGG. Keep those great sounds flowing.

Glynis GirlGroupGirl:

Hi Joe, Gaylord - how was your trip? I enjoyed seeing a few of Kathleen's photos. More importantly, did you buy records and meet people buying records?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:13pm
Gaylord Fields:

I was on my was to a recommended record store while Kathleen was meeting with some Havana animal people, and on my way there I got distracted by the vibrancy and just spent the time people-watching. (I don't know who I am anymore!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:15pm
Glynis GirlGroupGirl:

Ah, but I bet the people watching was so fantastic!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:17pm
Gaylord Fields:

Oh, it was — as was the 1950s American car watching!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:19pm
Gaylord Fields:

As well as the 1950s former Mob hotel lobby watching.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:20pm
Glynis GirlGroupGirl:

Oh, fab!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:21pm

Glynis GirlGroupGirl:

Hey Santa! Isn't that a weird song - psych, soul, pop, showband stuff! I love weird stuff.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:34pm
Gaylord Fields:

Speaking of a sandy girlie — Donna Loren was the only actual teen in those AIP teen beach party movies!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:35pm
Glynis GirlGroupGirl:

Yes she was. She also witnessed Kennedy's assassination!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:37pm
Gaylord Fields:

And good gravy, she was the Joker's teenage moll on two Batman episodes! And she's married to a Fantastic Baggie!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:41pm
Glynis GirlGroupGirl:

Yes, Gaylord! Donna is gearing up to release two books one this year and the other still searching for a publisher.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:42pm
Richard.Whig:

I agree - no horns or strings!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:42pm
Gaylord Fields:

I should have her back on my show when she does! She was so lovely a guest when she appeared a few years ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:43pm
Richard.Whig:

FUZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:45pm
Glynis GirlGroupGirl:

She is a lovely person. I didn't realize you had her on your show Gaylord (you need to post a link here to that show please). I interviewed her here last year and will most likely be interviewing her again - they just live a few hours away. We're supposed to be visiting each other sometime this year.

And last time we stayed in her town, I was unable to get together with Donna because of time constraints. I had to make do with a visit from Mary Weiss instead. Poor me.
