The last time I thought NYC was really cool was when I saw Tony Conrad walking down my street in neon green pants. #RIP

Agree! in 2016, already a year?!
...is this why your page is green?

Guido from Cologne:

Good morning Jeff!
Avatar 1:23am
Jeff Conklin:

Welcome, Mary. No, that's not why my page is green. I just like this color. Not so into neon though, worked better for TC ;)

This live Ash Ra Temple is fantastic!
Avatar 1:40am
Eiderdown:

Guido, not positive but it's either a stretched out version of Freak N Roll or it comes from very similar set of jams
Avatar 1:47am
upsetter5001:

@Eiderdown so this not live?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:52am
Guido from Cologne:

Cologne version of "Freak'n'Roll" frankly.
Weisshaus is an old Cinema in Cologne.
In the 70ies a lot of concerts took place there.
Nowadays it serves as a cinema again.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56am
Guido from Cologne:

weisshaus translates to "white haus", for what reason ever. facade is pained white, ok. www.weisshaus-kino.de

Outstanding Dead jam. Is Bootsville an actual label, or is that DJ-speak for bootleg recording? ; )
Avatar 1:59am
Jeff Conklin:

@zenkoan: Not a label
Avatar 1:59am
Eiderdown:

@upsetter5001...yeah, it's live I'm pretty sure!

This Dead jam is a pretty pristine live recording. Yow
Avatar 2:02am

Mornin Jeff, friend of mine told me just last wk of the Dead sound check at W Glen. I was there, don't remember much do to intake of too many substances. I do remember it certainly was MASSIVE!!

@Ochre: Hahahaha. Do you remember anything?
Avatar 2:29am

@Eiderdown: Dude fro New Haven. Great player!
  2:42am
Ochre Ogre:

Oh yeah some, hearing The band and The Dead too far away to see well. Got down front in the mud after downpours the night the Allman Bros played. And incredibly ran into some friends one day!
  2:45am
Mark R:

That Watkins Glen soundcheck with the jam you played tonight is available for streaming on concertvault.com. I belief that jam bridged between "Me and My Uncle" and "Wharf Rat."
