I love to make hummus and other stuff, and I love using the black chickpeas (desi chickpeas/chaana nag). They tend to be rock hard and take hours on the stove...OR...35 minutes from rock-hard dry to PERFECT. Look into it. Love mine.

(& sometimes an alcoholic beverage) it was much too strong for some who tried it, and not very sweet.

(The catalyst was an interview IA did with Rick Wakeman, in which he pretty much described what he felt were JT's shortcomings, the very characteristics I disliked for so many years.) Now I'm hunting for all the records up to, oh, Minstrel. Played Thick just last weekend and enjoyed it immensely. I wish somebody would do a box set of the early records.
