hiya, Duane and folks. is the estate of the purple one releasing new recordings, or just letting more stuff air?
  12:18pm
wfwtf:

this is what i call scraping the barrel. Prince would turn in his grave.
Avatar 12:20pm
Duane:

This is the rehearsals for Purple Rain tour that Prince released in the 90's through his own website. Dunno if it will be re released through his estate, but back in the day, he would open his archives up and you could by them direct from him
Avatar 12:21pm
northguineahills:

cool, thanks Duane!
  12:23pm
wfwtf:

prince probably turns in his grave anyway. he cant help it
  12:24pm
Tab Huntress:

I didn't think Prince rehearsed. Thought it was all divinely inspired, like the Koran or Mad Magazine.

when i used to turn up outside his purplenesses purple palace, he wouldnt even open the gates, let alone allow me into his inner sanctum

@beast — I’m presently eating a quartered orange off a maroon Bakelite (I think) small dish that proudly says on the bottom, “Made in Boonton, N.J., U.S.A.” I got a stack of ‘em. Table trivia.

one of my all time fave line dance jams from back in chicago! crazy that 'insides out' has never been reissued.
Avatar 1:50pm

BronwynB:

i like how in new york groove it says "stop at 3rd and 43" like that corner is really exciting for some reason. me and my friend went there as a pilgrimage. its just a bunch of banks and probably was in the 70s too
Avatar 1:56pm
Duane:

BronywynB: Probably because it was written by bunch of Brits:)
Avatar 1:58pm
BronwynB:

yeah that's how you can tell, that and the fact that they say 3rd and 43 and not 43rd and 3rd
  2:00pm

Got myself confused for a moment by
Escape from New York, a band and also a 30 year old track from Nasty Rox, worth playing sometime.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:02pm
