Hi Kim, I'm unable to get to my apt. tonight, housesitting someone's cats; a bit worried about my cassettes & LPs. The A.C. isn't on there, but window's open, bedroom door open at least, so an air flow.

Chresti: Yes, no sunlight. But heat after a while gets to tapes especially if humid. I take those dry packs from vitamin bottles and put them around my tape boxes, don't know if it works.

Over time I believe tapes dry out and flake (faster with sun, heat and humidity , but I think it happens anyway. Best to back up important stuff
