Just acquired a vocal recital from France of, inter alia, Les Chansons de Bilitis, piano and mezzo-soprano. It's gorgeous.

Hi, Cheyenne. Folks who just finished Kurt's show on main stream WFMU media were treated to some Debussy. Hopefully, some hopped over here for more.

Hi everyone

I'm assuming Peter John is Richard's son. He teaches piano at U Colorado Denver, and is knee-deep in jazz and composition. What a family. His father was clarinetist in Tashi, whose rendition of Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time pretty much remains the go-to.

Got here in the nick of time! This is a nice segue from the last hour of Kurt's set....

Glad you could slide over for a few!

Kurt's filling in for Pseu the next two weeks as well. More opportunity for coordinating sounds. Or creating complete and utter discord. It's a free form mystery.

Hi. Another emigre from Kurt's here. All fits in with this rainy "remnant" afternoon.

If a mazurka were a cocktail, what would be in it?

Cheyenne:

Seems like a gin or vodka base would suit it. Ice, most likely. Maybe a bit of preserved fruit.
