Morning Michael Shelley! Hi everybody! Great tune!
  11:45am
Sean:

Anyone know who is playing bass on the Joe Simon track?
Avatar 11:45am
Michael Shelley:

"The Chokin' Kind" is a 1967 song, later recorded by Joe Simon in 1969, written by Harlan Howard. The original version of the tune was released by Waylon Jennings in 1967. The single became Joe Simon's first number one on the R&B charts, where it stayed for three weeks. "The Chokin' Kind" was also Joe Simon's first top twenty entry on the pop singles chart.[1] It was also recorded by Z.Z. Hill in 1971, by Ella Fitzgerald on her Capitol Records release "Misty Blue," by Joss Stone in 2003 as the first track of her first album "The Soul Sessions" and as a single by Leron Thomas on the Heavenly Sweetness label.
Avatar 11:46am

So no Joe South at all. What do I know. As for the bass, this from allmusic:

Recording at Music City Recorders with guitarists Mac Grayden (who co-write and co-produced Robert Knight's "Everlasting Love") and Troy Seals, bassist Tim Drummond, drummer Ken Buttrey, and pianist Bob Wilson, Simon and Richbourg ...

Good Luck only spending $95 per day per ticket. I've been to DisneyWorld 3 times (in-laws retired to Florida) and I transform into a 6 year old when I pass through the entrance. I was there with a band that was performing in the 90s , along with PM Dawn among others . All performers were kept below ground where there are miles of tunnels . Over a few days we saw the cult like scene that employees are kept in . We were all allowed to wander the grounds except the African American groups , they were kept in their dressing rooms . Prince B left a nice graffiti on the wall of a nazi mickey mouse .

Yes Michael. It was a highschool grad thing going on , all white . They also insisted I wear a tie if I wanted to walk around so I purchased a hideous ny giants clip on . Our petite driver for the week confessed after a couple of beers that she also played mini mouse . The next day , in tears , she begged us not to tell anyone of her other gig there , she would be fired for revealing it .
I know the place can be entertaining but we saw the dark side after a few days inside . The tunnels below are something though , bicycles and carts whizzing around .
