	9:01pm northguineahills: I have to admit, I don't have many Venezuelan records, but I have plenty of Venezuelan artist, Kid 606!
	9:01pm coelacanth∅: Franco, i bought it because it's i think 145 w/channel. (i don't have a tv let alone a home theatre) i figured i wouldn't stress out my amp as much if i'm never pushing the limits of it's decent sound output. but it's not made for people who listen to music. it seems like one channel comes in more than the other (but equal output at the speakers) and there's very inadequate bass response. most controls are via a remote, which sucks. etc... i bought it used last year, but <10 years ago it sold for $12-1400.00. i'll probably replace it with an old sony (which i don't like in general) or another teac, both scavenged from my father's house.

	9:52pm still b/p: It's not exactly chaos-theory causation with the stroke of a butterfly wing on the other side of the world...but the sound of music from far Venezuela on the crummy little speakers in the too-far-away living room made me hook up a different longer cable to send the sounds to different slightly better speakers in the kitchen where dishes are being washed. Makes things happen!

(i don't have a tv let alone a home theatre) i figured i wouldn't stress out my amp as much if i'm never pushing the limits of it's decent sound output. but it's not made for people who listen to music. it seems like one channel comes in more than the other (but equal output at the speakers) and there's very inadequate bass response. most controls are via a remote, which sucks. etc... i bought it used last year, but <10 years ago it sold for $12-1400.00. i'll probably replace it with an old sony (which i don't like in general) or another teac, both scavenged from my father's house.
