But since I am no longer a skinny teenager, but a fat old man, I get a lot of "You look like Jerry Garcia" Last month I was in the Amoeba on Haight street and the guy behind the information desk said "You look just like..." and I though, here it comes... "This guy I know who drives a cab" That was a first!

	11:07pm melinda: I thought about watching Russian Doll but think it might be a good time to suspend my Netflix streaming since it tends to make me stay up past my bedtime.
	🌫 11:09pm Franco Twinkie: Daniel, if you saw what Chrestis usual get-up was, you'd realize a WFMU tee shirt was downright boring for her. Take this evening for example, when I got home this evening, I almost dropped a pan of enchiladas of the floor because she looked so utterly insane.
	11:09pm JakeGould: Also the Tompkins Square Park “Crustie” was miscast too. The rest of the exaggerations and creative takes on NYC types I could deal with.
	11:10pm Ike: You may also like The Good Place. The problem is that (IMHO) it takes a while to really rev up and get going, and Kristen Bell is (at first) a wee bit miscast as a selfish, cynical arse (who then grows into a more Bell-ish character). But the season 1 finale is mind-blowing and season 2 is an absolute riot. It's the only (American) existential sitcom I know of. And Ted Danson and the lady who plays the robot absolutely murder it in every episode.

	11:12pm JakeGould: Well, I need to finish watching all of the Showa era Godzilla films. Got copies in crystal clear widescreen with subtitles and it’s a whole other experience compared to watching them on crappy dubbed and 4:3 ratio TV. Those films are not bad because I get exactly what I want from each one!

	11:13pm Ike: @melinda, Russian Doll is only 8 episodes and most are less than 30 min., so compared to some of these shows that really draaaaaaaaaaag it out and blow a hole in your schedule, it's pretty concise.

	11:10pm Ike: You may also like The Good Place. The problem is that (IMHO) it takes a while to really rev up and get going, and Kristen Bell is (at first) a wee bit miscast as a selfish, cynical arse (who then grows into a more Bell-ish character). But the season 1 finale is mind-blowing and season 2 is an absolute riot. It's the only (American) existential sitcom I know of. And Ted Danson and the lady who plays the robot absolutely murder it in every episode.

Got copies in crystal clear widescreen with subtitles and it’s a whole other experience compared to watching them on crappy dubbed and 4:3 ratio TV. Those films are not bad because I get exactly what I want from each one!
