Speaking of goth, I just saw Bauhaus on Thursday. Peter Murphy pulled this Jamaican guy on stage, who started skanking and singing We Be Jammin with the band for a while.

Turns out the guy was their cab driver earlier that night, and they just invited the guy to hang out for the show and let him sing a song on stage. Goddamn adorable.

(for me, it was kinda like "doctor's orders" that i could not really go anywhere -- had had emergency surgery to remove gall bladder -- ugh -- otherwise NO WAY would i have missed Peter Murphy/Bauhaus!)

I had a brief “thing” with anime in the mid to late 1980s, but then just dropped it. So I have this small slice of trivial knowledge. But I still really like Crusher Joe. Same author behind the Dirty Pair novels that lead to the anime.
