	9:57pm melinda: It did not have the impact upon me now that it did seeing it on a large screen at age 6, the music was at times old Hollywood cheese, but the tonal code communication was still moving, as was the final chief alien to emerge from the spaceship and give the hand signals.

Spielberg knows Spectacle - but by that token was one of the early Blockbusters as we now know them - which is not all good...& I'm a SciFi kid...
