	6:42pm Rich in Washington: 70s TV is kind of funny for me, having grown up in a one TV household. When all this stuff was on, my parents just wanted to watch boring public television programs and documentaries, news programs. I'd hear kids talk about all these cool shows but never actually got to see them.
	6:45pm DJ GeorgyGirl: @Rich - my mum was like that with Monty Python. All the kids at school watched Python and I didn't get to see it until much later in the 70s when my mum decided to go back to college to get qualifications. During her revision for exams I was allowed to watch whatever I wanted on the TV. BLISS!!! I binged on as much Python and Sweeney and Spike Milligan as I could ;-)

When all this stuff was on, my parents just wanted to watch boring public television programs and documentaries, news programs. I'd hear kids talk about all these cool shows but never actually got to see them.

All the kids at school watched Python and I didn't get to see it until much later in the 70s when my mum decided to go back to college to get qualifications. During her revision for exams I was allowed to watch whatever I wanted on the TV. BLISS!!! I binged on as much Python and Sweeney and Spike Milligan as I could ;-)
