When I moved from Brooklyn to FL a few years ago, the movers really banged up one of my record shelves. I cobbled it back together. But this time, when trying to move it w/ a friend, it just fell apart and parts of it broke. So, we had to go to Lowe's to get some materials to make some semblance of an aesthetically pleasing record shelf (as my music is now sitting in my friend's gallery/concert venue/loft space). So what should have taken 2-3 hours, took 9.5 last night. So, I'm behind schedule....(no sleep, since Brooklyn!)

Thanks Jesse. Its called Tall poppy syndrome.. we dont believe someone from our own country is good until they make it overseas.. and then we call them sellouts when they do. im not sure why.. maybe the distance and isolation? or maybe it happens everywhere
