It's been so many yers since I saw the video adaptation of that that I wouldn't recognize Julie T. Burke's voice, but that monolog fits the action. Turned out my friend's TV show "Lost" was based partly on that mini-series and the book; Damon Lindelof's father David had shown it to us.

There was a character on "Lost" named Juliet Burke, which one viewer convinced me was a tribute to Julie T. because the character's a partly inverted reference to the Hunter character she played from the mini-series of the novel. However, there's also a Juliet Burke on the acknowledgments page of "Holy Blood, Holy Grail", which "Lost" also alludes to heavily.
