I was listening to a Dark Night of the Soul archived soul the other day and Glow Stars by Heather Nova came up and I had never heard that song, it was so gorgeous I had to rewind it and almost got hit by a car while doing this

This might be my favorite Bowie album. It's the first one I remember buying brand new, when it just came out. The title track just blew my teenage mind when I first heard it on the radio.

That GIF is interesting to consider. Where you can see the slight jump/edit, there'd been another shot, so there'd been suspense between her covering her eyes and her finally opening her eyes again. I think I've watched that one scene a hundred times. (It's one of the only good moments in the film.)
