Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from November 15, 2019 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Um, Bryce can't find his body. Things hiss in the winter and strings become discordant. The political fiasco mixes well with discordant strings.

I'm digging this Swirnoff. Thanks for playing a number of tracks, Bryce.

Yes, really enjoyed that non-average usage of electric guitar. And just in case I'm unconscious later (sleep deprivation catching up on me fast), Thanks again, Bryce!

@ Venusvaness - Possibly the end of Maariv 3? If you really want to know, wait until this show is posted to the archives, The app displays the time you're at in relationship to the beginning and the ending of the show.
  1:22pm
Venusvaness:

Thank you! It was right before Maariv. Could it have been the opener?
Avatar 1:23pm
Bryce:

hi, v! yeah, if it was the tinkly gamelan-like thing, that was maariv 3. the dense organ stuff was 2.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:23pm
tim from champaign (now washington):

@John - thanks! I think I chose Captain Lou as my profile pic because I signed up for my playlist account around the time Capt Lou passed. I haven't watched wrestling in years but I was a pretty huge fan from late 70s - late 90s.

these are sawed-off aluminum baseball bats, btw. pvr would have them hanging around a space and set up standing waves and other acoustic trippiness you can't really get from a recording

@John - excellent! The first match I remember seeing was Dick the Bruiser vs King Kong Brody around 78 or 79. I still remember the amazement of seeing wrestling on TV for the first time.

me too, mark! so glad he sent fmu some of his stuff. i actually ripped those CDRs (since all CDRs have a lifespan), thank god.

just carrot cake
Avatar 2:12pm
Bryce:

wait, where did it go?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:12pm
Phillippe Bastille:

Hey sphere, I mentioned last week that I was going to see Crack the Sky. They were pretty damn good. No one can really sing anymore but they were incredibly tight. I had forgotten what a great guitarist Rick Witkowski is. Also forgot how inconvenienced/barely tolerant Palumbo looks and acts
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:13pm
Phillippe Bastille:

@Bryce I baked a carrot cake this past week for my son's birthday cake. I kept screwing it up. 5 hours to finish a carrot cake. Yeeesh...
Avatar 2:15pm
sphere:

Nice!. I don't think Crack The Sky was ever about singing anyways.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:17pm
Phillippe Bastille:

True that. My bride had never seen them before and her reaction to Witkowski was akin to a stunned "Holy shit!" Talked about him for days to whomever would listen.

@Krys - Pedro Morales is a deep cut. Nice!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33pm
steveo:

i heard it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:33pm
Phillippe Bastille:

Factors that go into a 5 hour carrot cake:
1. Using tablespoon measurements instead of teaspoons because the font on the iPad is too small and thus having to start over again.
2. Using slightly too large cake pans without adjusting the bake time for a thinner cake and thus having to start over again
3. Using slightly too large cake pans and realizing your cake has no height and having to bake more layers
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:35pm
steveo:

@blee kind of like that freddie kruger "sweet dreams" poster
