I know exactly what you mean, spacebrother. i really, REALLY briefly played some computer games when we first got a zippy computer in our house in the late 90s, just whenever the kids were out. I remember spending on Saturday afternoon and I'd burned the entire day and didn't do a single creative/productive thing with my spare time, and was tense and agitated to boot.

The Victoriana got super expensive so everyone moved on to 20s and 30s largely because of the Biba shop in kensington. :-)
