	5:25pm huomenta: I am the opposite, I somehow enjoyed the cold I had 2 weeks ago as I could hardly get out of bed. Not having to do anything is lovelyl On the other hand, I felt pretty awful and was not laughing when I realised I had to go shopping for some ingredients for hot drinks&food, nearest shop is more than a mile away. Walking that distance felt like an eternity...

I went out on Wednesday morning in a big coat and scarf (it was freezing outside), came home covered in sweat, went back out in a light coat .... came back drenched in sweat again. And my daughter said "bed. NOW." :-(

	6:27pm DJ GeorgyGirl: My nan used to have this fabulous glass thing with tubes that worked under gravity and suction. Took forever to make a coffee but it was such an adventure. :-)

	6:27pm Rich in Washington: We mainly french press our coffee. Our ancient Braun drip machine died so we started pressing and we've never looked back. I hate drip coffee now. There's something about it I just don't like.

	6:28pm huomenta: i am too lazy to grind the beans so pressing is too complicated for me. even if i have all the necessary stuff...

	6:29pm Rich in Washington: We buy ours ground. It's easier and we don't wake each other up brewing our first cup.

	6:31pm DJ GeorgyGirl: I bought one of those little electric coffee bean grinder things and it sounds like a bloody airplane taking off. NOT for use first thing of a morning!

	6:32pm Linda Lee: definitely needs cardamom. it's just lovely. tasty. thick.
	6:33pm DJ GeorgyGirl: I sent a short clip to Linda for quality control on light and angles - how's it fare for Facebook Live in the future? :-)
	6:33pm Rich in Washington: Yeah, Granny! I buy the Najjar brand which has ground cardamom in it. I also like Bosnian style, which doesn't and has a sort of musty taste to it.
	6:34pm huomenta: coarse-ground coffee is hard to find here (fair trade at least), so diy here if need be. and yes, @gg, i have exactly one of those tiny noise machines, so pour-over coffee for me until i become a better (less lazy) person
	6:35pm Rich in Washington: but my favorite Turkish style is by a company called Edna's. It's Armenian. They don't call it Turkish. It's really good, kind of mild tasting and slightly reminiscent of cocoa.

Not having to do anything is lovelyl On the other hand, I felt pretty awful and was not laughing when I realised I had to go shopping for some ingredients for hot drinks&food, nearest shop is more than a mile away. Walking that distance felt like an eternity...

	6:33pm Rich in Washington: Yeah, Granny! I buy the Najjar brand which has ground cardamom in it. I also like Bosnian style, which doesn't and has a sort of musty taste to it.
	6:34pm huomenta: coarse-ground coffee is hard to find here (fair trade at least), so diy here if need be. and yes, @gg, i have exactly one of those tiny noise machines, so pour-over coffee for me until i become a better (less lazy) person
	6:35pm Rich in Washington: but my favorite Turkish style is by a company called Edna's. It's Armenian. They don't call it Turkish. It's really good, kind of mild tasting and slightly reminiscent of cocoa.
