So, I resorted to the selfish way of managing the splitting of my pledge...i throw my contribution in when the prize is appealing (once upon a time, it was $10 to get in the running, which went much further, but what can you do).

And then she comes home, wrung out from the day's challenges, and what does she do? Collapse in a heap on the coach? Not on Mondays she doesn't! She races home in time to take us a glorious journey of sound. She is expanding minds on the job and she is expanding minds on the radio. Honor Kim with a pledge of any amount. 	8:18pm Doug Schulkind: @doctorjazz Hearing Kamasi in the context of Kim mix really helped bring it into the light for me. His might not be the first recordings I reach for, but Kim has shown me how he can really scratch a particular itch, and it feels great when that happens.
	8:18pm KimSorise: I really think it's the lack of editing on all of his records. He's good, and I appreciate the approach but scale it back a bit. This one is his best!

	8:27pm Doug Schulkind: @CC You absolutely can do that. That is a perfectly lovely thing to do. All of the different programs total up the pledges that come in directed specifically for them. All the dollars go into the singular streaming cauldron of love at WFMU, but it's nice for the individual DJs to receive the acknowledgment. No apology necessary! Some people at WFMU feel we should just have one pledge tally for the whole thing. Others reason that having individual program with their own pledge goals helps provide an incentive for people to pledge.

All the dollars go into the singular streaming cauldron of love at WFMU, but it's nice for the individual DJs to receive the acknowledgment. No apology necessary! Some people at WFMU feel we should just have one pledge tally for the whole thing. Others reason that having individual program with their own pledge goals helps provide an incentive for people to pledge.
