A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

ami, when a friend was moving out of BK a few years back (splitter!), it was on one of these gruesomely hot summer days. I showed up to help out, but he also had movers, super nice guys who dealt with the conditions with good spirit. My friend went to the store to get Gatorades for everyone -- and only when getting back realized it was Ramadan and these guys had been doing all the work without even water! They took the Gatorades for later.

Bluntly - fair & democratic small D elections are the enemy of the Republican Party - as demographics are against them. This election is especially Drumpf's enemy - as he f*cked the pandemic response 1000% trying to appeal to his cult - & the economy has turned completely upside down.
& Murikans vote their wallets.
So - he'll throw any obstacle - & any shade on the Election he can from his shady Artlessness of the Deal Mein Drumpf manual he can Con. Stormtrooper photo ops - gutting & disabling the USPS against mail ballots - any scam @ all.
He'll have to be dragged twittering & raving & dogwhistling to the KKK from the Oval Office.
Bum rush that Vote.

@Trouble, with white-haired cats, I have heard the deafness gene travels with the blue-eyes gene, so if you have a green-eyed white cat, they are less likely to be deaf. Lulu certainly is not. She can hear us talking about her from two rooms away!

She was actually on television! A show called Louie (w/creepy Louis C. K.). First season filmed in our neighborhood, and Lulu was a deli cat at the time. She has a speaking part!

@HH: One of my crazy friends races sailboats for fun (crew, not owner). He invited me to bring the Klepper to the harbor, we put it together on the dock and paddled around Du Sable Harbor. At one point our friends in the sailboat tossed us a rope and towed us (my friend in the bow held on), probably plenty of good reasons you shouldn't do this, we were laughing our heads off and as soon as it got to be too much he just let go of the rope.
