Basically WFMU represents, in all respects, the way the internet "was supposed to" work. As in, people being awesome and supporting each other all the time, etc. In any case, as Jesse Jarnow notes, it pretty much has everything you (really) need, all in one site

Down in Looziana! Speaking of sugar cane, if you've never tried Louisiana cane syrup, it's really good. It's not molasses. It's like maple syrup, except made from sugar cane, has that nice unrefined-sugar taste.

Kat: yeah, you can put it on pancakes and waffles and use it as a sugar substitute. My cousin has a restaurant and he makes puffed pork skins, really light and airy, and he puts a drizzle of cane syrup on them. I like it in oatmeal as well. My full-monty oatmeal has red pear, red raisins, golden raisins, walnuts, cinnamon, cane syrup and a touch of honey.

@Ira, I started cooking beans in the oven without soaking (I know it’s a sin). I heat up some water on the stove, add beans onion garlic and seasoning, pop it in a 350 degree oven for a couple of hours...and I add salt about an hour in (a sin!!)
