Sound Unlimited was the show, just when colour tv came in 1975 for us, big news for us kids
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:18pm
Matt Clarke:

Sir Gaylord!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:22pm
Mike Sin:

@Aitch -- was always surprised that it took that long for color TV to hit Australia. Whenever I saw clips of of early '70s bands from Aussie TV, I just figured they were b-roll copies or such... Such a difference from the sharp color vid tape of West Germany's "Beat Club"!
Avatar 6:26pm
Joe B:

lotta traffic on this number!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:27pm

We waited for PAL-D, much better quality res than your NTSC, but also much later.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:28pm
Matt Clarke:

Traffic Jam, Joey B!
Avatar 6:28pm
Todd-o-phonic Todd:

Hey great is "Putty In Your Hands"? Didn't discover it was originally done by The Shirelles until many years after hearing Yardbirds do it. Might have even heard Jean & The Statesiders version first!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:28pm
Mike Sin:

@Joe B -- I think the story goes that the Hellions toured with Spencer Davis Group and that's how Winwood and Capaldi eventually came together.
Avatar 6:28pm
DA the DJ:

Hi fellows!
Avatar 6:29pm
Joe B:

I don't think the shirelles' original ever came out as a 45, perhaps that is why
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:29pm
Mike Sin:

Hey there DA the DJ!

@ Joe B -- was Jansch with a band or just solo on that gig?
Avatar 6:45pm
