That opening set sustained the entirety of my dog walk right to the end of the mic break. I will think of it not as killing an hour but rather a commitment to a piece! Also, I will chime in for JAMC and The Cure! I wish I had bought these on vinyl instead of cassette. Ah, youth.

graduated from college in 81, so ooooo i feel kinda "old". . . but a lot of this music carried me through some really crappy post-college times, jobs, etc. . . . fer instance, i remember seeing The Replacements at Maxwell's :)
