I know cassettes are having a bit of renisance like other physical media that might be jacking up the price on them, but I have to imagine there are a ton of them nobody is using...Unless they all got dumped.
	12:14pm Tony Coulter: A record store near me will be closing in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping to snag some cassette shelving from them.
	12:14pm rw: I found a nice cassette rack at the thrift store late last year and gave it to my son for Xmas. It was the gift I was most excited about giving.

	12:27pm Rich in Washington: Oh. I see it now. I heard about the Sandy Everyday closure. Kind of sad, not sad. Used to haunt that store pretty regularly in the earlyish 2000s but they really let their selection and diversity of music go downhill.

	12:33pm Rich in Washington: yeah, there's a whole wave of people dumping CDs again. Reminds me of buying used records in the 90s.

	12:53pm Cmurtha: I'm grading finals, and I knew letting the college students compare WWI and WWI would be a mistake because they all would choose that essay over the others...Yet I let them do it. A fool am I. I am waiting for that breath of Fresh air student who didn't pick that prompt.
	12:54pm Tony Coulter: @ Mark: Keep meaning to get back to Tacoma. I usually go right by it on the way to Seattle. Tacoma has many record stores (or, at least, used to).
	12:56pm rw: Cmurtha, I'm embarrassingly lacking when it comes to knowledge of history but there's a pretty amazing WWI museum in Kansas City. Worth visiting if you're ever in the area. That is of course if all these essays haven't spoiled it for you.
	12:57pm rw: And this is beside the point but my grandfather fought in WWI and was a plane spotter in WWII.

	12:56pm rw: Cmurtha, I'm embarrassingly lacking when it comes to knowledge of history but there's a pretty amazing WWI museum in Kansas City. Worth visiting if you're ever in the area. That is of course if all these essays haven't spoiled it for you.
