He had a stroke, was taken to a nursing home, kept against his will until I volunteered to house him. He just lacked short term memory until a week ago, then sudden formal thought disorder, now I'm trying to get a neuro evaluation of him, suspecting (1) vascular dementia (mini-strokes), (2) pseudodementia from psychotic depression.
