Silex was a trademarked company name — they made coffeemakers etc. They merged with a Proctor company in the mid 1900s. — Silex was and is a common noun for ground silicate stone. —Company names ending in ex were trendy for a while many decades ago — Timex etc.

Yes, Zebra were/are proggy. They started as a prog covers band in the early 70s. I think they were first released on Atlantic, Yes’s label. They still perform here in New Orleans, though it’s not a big prog town like NYC or Philly.

I remember sneaking in a little 126 camera (with flash cubes).

I was first row after the regular orchestra section.

I'm clicking away but was so far back for that kind of camera all I got was lit up ants on a stage.

I had one photo where I could tell I was seeing Wakeman's cape but it disappeared..like the cape :)

It's ripped from a different DJ set, the chugging and the drumfill at the end is from a different song. Apparently the whole piece is about 6 to 7 minutes long and is very heavy with progressive elements and has a long vocal intro with bells.

Haven't been able to find this at all
