I am a bit late but Gene Clark is a good excuse (his mighty album ‘No Other’ aside I gave a spin to some tracks from The Rolling Stones’ Out of Our Heads & Aftermath and then three Doors albums). The only bad thing about my vinyl warmups before this show is that I tend to miss some of the songs played here but it’s the holiday season so….

Regarding the dreampop/shoegaze debate, Beach Boys is the most unlikely name to drop when talking about shoegaze but ‘All I Want to Do’ from their 1970 album ’Sunflower’ is definitely a pioneering dreampop song.
