Favoriting Hinky Dinky Time with Uncle Michael: Playlist from January 24, 2025 Favoriting

Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Just stumbled onto this note with an old performance clip:
"Unfortunately, the Little River Band that tours the United States today contains NO ORIGINAL MEMBERS. Be aware that they often use our videos, images and audio to mislead the public into believing original members will be appearing. This American band owns the trademark 'Little River Band' and this prevents the original band from performing or touring."

Hell was one of my guesses, but not obvious enough. Another was just that if he's that good at getting around, he doesn't need a ride. Yet another guess was simply that it was a snarky response amounting to "Bullshit," but considering that the guy wasn't asking for a ride but just that the driver decided on his own to offer it, that'd be too nasty.

I was a freestyle BMXer in the 80's. My Dad told me if I wanted to continue with the hobby I better start learning to repair my own bike. I was pissed at first, but it paid off in the long run. Later on I started restoring beach cruisers. I build Bikes from scratch now. working on 70's Schwinn Stingray currently
