	11:59am Jeff: I saw two back to back Garth “solo” shows at St Ann’s in Bklyn back in the ‘80s. Garth played the church pipe organ, and he had a backing band that incl. Clifford Solomon on sax and (I believe) Billy Butler on guitar. His wife Sister Maud contributed vocals. Also, saw him there and at The Bottom Line as past of an all star band backing up the late great Marianne Faithfull. It’s so ironic that Garth was the last to go since he was the oldest. He was a bit eccentric, but I don’t think he ever messed with drugs (which were Richard’s, Rick’s and Levon’s downfall. He was a brilliant musician!

	11:59am Jeff: I saw two back to back Garth “solo” shows at St Ann’s in Bklyn back in the ‘80s. Garth played the church pipe organ, and he had a backing band that incl. Clifford Solomon on sax and (I believe) Billy Butler on guitar. His wife Sister Maud contributed vocals. Also, saw him there and at The Bottom Line as past of an all star band backing up the late great Marianne Faithfull. It’s so ironic that Garth was the last to go since he was the oldest. He was a bit eccentric, but I don’t think he ever messed with drugs (which were Richard’s, Rick’s and Levon’s downfall. He was a brilliant musician!
