  11:07pm
Cecile:

This is a great tune. Good to finally tune in live.
  11:13pm
efd:

whoa, it's famous daytime commenter Cecile! Hi Cecile!
  11:13pm
Cecile:

Yeah, it's me. Taking a trip over to the dark side. ;D
  11:14pm
Cecile:

diggin it!
  11:16pm
Joe:

Hey Cecile! Welcome to hell.

EFD I am very much liking the way this show is going.
  11:20pm
Cecile:

Oh, you are kidding me with this song.
I haven't heard this since the 8-track that we played at Big Boy in 1979.
  11:21pm
Cecile:

And it was awesome until I cleaned one too many chicken fryers to it. I also can't listen to Blue Jay Way or Can't Get you OUt of my Head without twitching either.
  11:23pm
Your Old 8 Track:

I am now 79 feet under the surface of a landfill.

But I was utterly, gloriously cool at the time.
  11:24pm
Cecile:

You brought me many happy hours, 8 track.
Love the Sloan
  11:25pm
E.L.:

I showed up just in time for SLOAN! YAY!
  11:25pm
dave:

i challenge any thinking human being to not sing along at the top of their lungs with 'who taught you to live like that'.

g'wan.
just TRY.
  11:26pm
rachel jensen:

  11:27pm
efd:

dave, I'm not up to that challenge.
  11:27pm
Cecile:

I am not wagering against you, dave.
  11:28pm
Joe:

Ah! It's that time of year, is it?

Guess I'll be making myself a sandich.

God this song makes me hungry.
  11:28pm
Matt:

HOAGIEFEST IS BACK!
  11:28pm
Laurie:

omg is it Hoagiefest time again?

Turkey So Fine >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Five Five Dollar Five Dollar Footlong
  11:33pm
Amanda:

Aw man, speaking of "that time of year," I missed E.L.'s birthday, right? It was yesterday?
  11:36pm
E.L.:

Nope. It's happening now!
  11:40pm
rachel jensen:

evan-- my birthday will be two months from 2nite,,,in other news toni daytona won't be back for a while she's taking care of brad,,,,
  11:42pm
Tom:

Trying to log in. Big fan of Cassie St. Onge is she on tonight?
  11:44pm
E.L.:

rachel— I marked my iCal.
  11:44pm
Amanda:

Yaaaay HB, E.L.! Tinted Windows could be for you considering your Hanson affiliations.
  11:45pm
Cecile:

you know, there were 2-3 tracks on James Iha's solo rec that were good
  11:47pm
efd:

is that Tom G.? I think you may have confused Caissie's re-tweet of my tweet! She is not actually here.
Hi Rachel, thanks for the Toni D update.
Happy Birthday E.L.!
  11:47pm
Joe:

I refuse to believe that.
  11:51pm
Cecile:

I hearded them. They were pretty good. Considering I didn't like Smashing Piumpkins that much. But is there anything that Adam Schlesinger doesn't do well? I gotta check out that record.
  11:51pm
E.L.:

My (our) grudge with Hanson is over. It's funny hearing Bun E. Carlos and Robert Pollard back to back. They shared a ticket to one of the best shows I've ever seen. The Big Dipper/Boston Spaceships show would be in contention as well. This Thermals song K's the A. Thanks Amanda and EFD!
  11:53pm
Tom:

Different Tom. Thanks. Tried to listen. Your website wouldn't let me!
  11:54pm
Cecile:

I remember that tour! It was pretty damn great.
  11:57pm
rachel jensen:

  12:16am
brass monkey:

i like this track i hope it never ends.
  12:19am
E.L.:

You know the Midnight Ticket Oasis is a smash when Evan has trouble keeping up with the playlist.
  12:22am
efd:

you got that right, E.L. I'd have thought a 9-minute song would have been enough! I could have used a few more minutes myself, brass monkey.
  12:23am
Joe:

It takes alot to throw the man off his game.

Davies, if you keep playing this Sole album, I'm gonna have to go out and buy it. Or make like Stingy D and smack it into my possession.
  12:24am
brass monkey_01:

i want to use that for my power point demo. I think it would really tie the slide presentation format together and really nail it for me
  12:27am
E.L.:

Is this Bob Log III related?
  12:27am
rachel jensen:

i'm back just to wish evan a DELIGHTFUL upcomming vacation!!!!!!
  12:29am
efd:

thanks Rachel! It's still a couple of weeks off.

E.L., good question - I don't know offhand.
  12:33am
brass monkey:

no one can eat fifty egg
  12:34am
E.L.:

Ah! Found their myspace page— and no. they're from Australia apparently.
  12:36am
rachel j.:

efd i'll give toni d. your regards,,,nite nite.
  12:42am
Amanda:

That was so cute, the Radio City jam. Kind of Joe Jackson-y...? Nick Lowe-y? Name other things I enjoy, it reminds me of them.
  12:47am
Joe:

Puppies!
  12:49am
Amanda:

Aw! Red haired boys?
  12:49am
E.L.:

Ha ha! And eating nice meals? Or was that rejected?
  12:57am
Amanda:

Nope, that was in there. And one of the remaining things I like (in the very small list), of course, is this very radio show.
  1:03am
Michael from the Left Coast:

Hey EFD--Big ups for playing my old friend Kid Congo! I'm behind on the stream (I'm still in the talk break before it, but I can see it in the player).
  1:04am
Michael from the Left Coast:

Yes, he was in the Gun Club (I believe he was either just before or after Ward Dotson)
  1:04am
efd:

  1:10am
