RE: "Marley Purt Drive" by the Bee Gees -- This track always reminded me of the Bee Gees take on the early 1969 trend of British musicians being completely knocked out by "Music From Big Pink" by the Band and devoting a track to that style. Rumor has it that he original fuzzy cover of "Odessa" was discontinued because of cost AND allergic reactions to the material!
