	10:01am Cecile: no problem! there is a funny story about their founding - a couple of people decided to form an orchestra in Wellington, and they just picked a random instrument for everyone to play. They said whoever was in their favorite coffeehouse that day could join. So that day was packed, and they all got a ukelele and the rest is history.

	11:12am Parq: 'Cile, we had a longhair years ago. Wirehairs, being historically part terrier, are more stubborn and volatile, but intensely loyal and quite lovable.
	11:14am Cecile: I don't know Jennique, but Bostons are adorable. Parq, are they good about being left? We both work - we would make sure it would get walked and plenty of love, but are they the kind of dog that gets neurotic being left for 8-9 hours alone?

	11:25am Priscilla: Scharffen Berger has tents at 14th Street & 9th Avenue today, and they are giving out free chocolate. I think they are owned by Hershey.
	11:26am kat330: @trouble: Right, you have a lot of choices in your area. I never cared for chocolate as a kid -- the milk kind only available -- but when they finally packaged dark chocolate, I now properly love the stuff.

	11:28am Parq: 'Cile, mine is pretty good about being left alone, but I think that's from dog to dog. For instance, neither of our dogs bark at noises in the hall if no people are in our apt, but the dog across the hall constantly does so. You sort of have to take a deep breath and have faith. Miss Trouble, dark chocolate ice cream with white chocolate chunks. Nuff freakin' said.

There are few things I like less than the way St Patrick's Day is celebrated in the US -- tacky green plastic novelty items, clownish clothing and watery domestic beer by the vat. Every year, I try to lighten up and be a sport about it, and every year, I end up wishing I had a cream-pie machine gun.

	11:44am Cecile: Legacy Chocolate in Wisconsin (formerly also in St. Paul) and BT McElrath are my favorite chocolates. McElrath does odd flavors like Vosges, but I think he's more suave with his combinations. I still wouldn't be upset if someone gave me some Vosges though.

	10:01am Cecile: no problem! there is a funny story about their founding - a couple of people decided to form an orchestra in Wellington, and they just picked a random instrument for everyone to play. They said whoever was in their favorite coffeehouse that day could join. So that day was packed, and they all got a ukelele and the rest is history.

	11:44am Cecile: Legacy Chocolate in Wisconsin (formerly also in St. Paul) and BT McElrath are my favorite chocolates. McElrath does odd flavors like Vosges, but I think he's more suave with his combinations. I still wouldn't be upset if someone gave me some Vosges though.
