A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

Glad to have the power back, power to WFMU !
  12:07pm
Van in DC:

Whoo! Hi Trouble!
  12:07pm
Cecile:

you can kind of sing "inchworm" to this.
  12:08pm
Jennique:

Glad you are up and runnin'. Hope all is dry in FMU land. I had quite a view Monday night of blue and green lights popping in the sky over New Jersey. Who knew exploding transformers could put on such a show?
  12:09pm
ffrr:

Hi Trouble, glad to hear your show and that you've survived awful Sally. Like the Flip 7".

smaaaaackkkkk! xo
  12:10pm
Cecile:

Jennique, I can only imagine. About 5 yrs ago we saw a squirrel jump into one in out neighborhood. It was quite the light show.
  12:11pm
Cecile:

the aftermath, a night with no power, was a little less entertaining.
  12:15pm
common:

hello trouble!
  12:16pm

  12:16pm
Brian in UK:

Hello trouble, trust all is well. Chickens with water wings?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:21pm
Ken:

Hello all, I just raised Trouble's goal I am sorry to say but we are finding so much damage to our equipment today its not even funny and I am scared shitless for the station financially speaking, between the damage and the huge loss of money from the cancelled record fair. So I will be raising goals all over the place. Shit has gotten real.

Thanks to all who have given, and if you haven't yet, please please please, as the Godfather off would say.
  12:26pm
ShawnJ:

Hey, greets from Portland Maine, Great to see that WFMU has weathered the storm, and that you are all pretty much in one piece
  12:27pm
disastrogirl:

You need chicken diapers! Srsly, they exist. But also seriously, I agree with you that chickens belong outdoors only.
  12:28pm
Brian in UK:

Resilient little buggers.
  12:30pm
Caryn:

Maybe, when chickens get startled or scared, they don't pee themselves (like humans may), but pop out an egg?
  12:31pm
Cecile:

Maybe they are bored. Maybe you need to have a little chicken agilty course in your yard!
  12:32pm
Brian in UK:

They run on a 25 hour cycle. Very squidgy poos.
Impossible to ruin 'Lineman'?
  12:33pm
Peter:

Conference Day, no classes, organizing the art room and hanging a Dia de los Muertos show. SO GLAD you're back on the air. I challenge all artists to give what you would have spent at the record fair! XO
  12:34pm
Marmalade Kitty:

Good to see you, trouble!

i agree with peter. we aren't looking for huge bucks from everyone. if you can only give 10 bucks, give it! if we all gave 10 bucks we would be well over our goal. a little from all is best! potluck WFMU, c'mon kids

Alligators were introduced to New York City's subway system in the 1800s to combat the rat problem. The alligators eat the rats and all is well, except that the city regularly needs to pump out the alligator's waste.
