Michael, were you in Paramus Park? My mom was a charter employee of the A&S that used to be at the other end of the mall from the Sears. Worked there from the day the place opened until her retirement. Yes, in those days, dept. stores gave their employees retirement benefits.

Just Googled it and was surprised to learn that 'Always Something There To Remind Me' was never a number one hit (until it made your playlist, of course). Not even Top Twenty. Seems like every time I turned the car radio on in the late 60's (no car FM in those days), Dionne W's version was playing.
