Haircuts are a pain for men. I’d like long luxurious lady hair. Lots more options to do things. Now I just as for “a trim” and deal with it. Works well!

"Caesar cut."
Also, Super Cuts?? really???

Uncle Michael:

Michael, I was transitioning from smartphone app to Squeezebox and may have missed you back announcing the McGear. Was that from the album backed by Wings that Paul produced?
Avatar 11:35am
Michael Shelley:

Jake - Ive had bad results with the "just a trim" usually they take off too little and I need another haircut in 2 weeks - but that's a safe strategy
Yoyu - I only resorted to Supercuts after a few disasters as the local real barber shop
Michael - YES!

@Jimmy, that's funny on several levels.

JakeGould:

@Michael Shelly, my other tip—at least for me—is I make sure to go to places that actually use scissors at some point. If they are just one of those new bright fluorescent places with dudebros who use clippers, you’re going to get a crappy army/swimteam cut.
Avatar 11:44am
Michael Shelley:

yes - insist on scissors!

Uncle Michael:

Since I've made a point of including WFMU in my Saturday tasks on the app/bluetooth combo...I've doubled my weekend productivity.

That could just be spring.

Nah...it's Bob, Michael and Rex.

I buzz my head every three weeks with electric clippers. I spent $60 for them so I've averaged about .40 cents a haircut so far and no tip.
Avatar 11:49am
Whooda:

That Harry Nilsson was a treat, this whole set is Wonderbread DJ Michael Shelley. I'm moving so I don't have time to hate you today, sorry, the heavy boxes and three sets of stairs are demanding all the hate I can muster.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:51am
mariano:

I miss my long hair, but as a 20-year baldie, I gotta say, it's so easy just to get in the shower, shave my head and face, and be done with it.
Avatar 11:52am
Whooda:

@JakeGould I make sure I'm not surprised with a crappy/swimteam cut by asking for just exactly that; a #3 buzzcut. At least I'm never disappointed and get maximum time between cuts.
  11:54am
JSG:

#1 key: a barber older than you. Harder every year, I know. Or do what I do -- self-serve w/ Wahl #2 all around.
  11:56am
JakeGould:

Yeah, but I got some of that european wavy hair yet balding crap happening. I can make it work decent if I find a decent haircut place. And yes, like JSG says: Older barber is better. Or—honestly—get a hipster lady to do it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56am
Uncle Michael:

<- Wahl #2...that's it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:01pm
Uncle Michael:

That Ardent anthology is fun. I think the best track on that is Hot Dog's "Let Me Look At The Sun." It' rather BS-ish too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:07pm
mariano:

As a native Louisianian, I recommend the Paul Newman movie Blaze, which is about Earl K. Long.
Avatar 12:29pm

I thought this rendition of WLSGO sounded like a singer/songwriter, too cool to be post-jerry lee lewis. Sure enough it is the co-author Roy Hall.
