Wesy Coast greetings Brother Frow. Albert Ayler is awesome, but a little too "late night" a vibe here where it's still pretty much daylight!

Hi Jesse I read your review of Seastones today, I liked it a lot. I already have the album, direct from Lagin. I think I found out about it from you tweeting about it.

PhilaMoca is actaylly the Philadelphia MAUSOLEUM of Contemporary Art. It is a venue that used to sell gravestones.

It confused me the first time I went there, I thought it would be a museum, and was wandering around looking for one.

i don't think their satanic majesties' request is underrated. it's definitely the 'stones worst album during their "worth listening to period" (their beginning through goats head soup) ...despite a couple of extraordinary tracks like she's a rainbow.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:37am
jj.:

i think you just offered the exact definition of underrating it! personally, i reach for it way more often than most (but not all) of the stones' '62-'73 albums. i find it way less of a chore to listen to than "exile" & more fun.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:50am
coelacanth∅:

obviously i am stating my opinion, as you are. it's the only album from their inception through goats head soup that i have no interest in putting on but once in the last 30-something years... in 49 years of listening to the 'stones. (i listened to it a lot as a teenager - trying to like it because my friends did)
3 songs: citadel; rainbow; & 2000 light years from home. the rest is contrived filler. silly poseur nonsense.
(& though it's good, i've always thought exile was overrated, and is just good - nothing special)
but this is only what i think. i'm only underrating it by your opinion, so no - not the definition of underrating it! my opinion is as valid and likely as informed as yours.

Diezel Tea:

Guys, the stones suck, get over it. Let's talk about cheese (the food.)
Avatar 2:53am
Diezel Tea:

Or cheese the band if there's a notable band called cheese out there.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53am
jj.:

yes, these are both our opinions. but when i say, "satanic majesties is underrated" it's based on many people sharing your opinion, and rating it under other stones albums. in all of our own ratings, it's rated perfectly! collectively, i think it's rated under most other RS albums.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56am
coelacanth∅:

okay,right. Thank you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56am
coelacanth∅:

(...i just happen to agree with the majority i guess...which is fairly rare)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:58am

Diezel i'm sorry but cheese is kind of disgusting!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:58am

Thanks Jesse take care.
