Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from June 7, 2019 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Bryce, I think a Marbles in a Blender tee shirt should be your next premium, as was mentioned on Olivia's board. I would pledge again to get that sucker alone.

@Phillippe: I thought the tee had already happened in the mid teens when I was not around here for several years. (Big changes for me in my personal life, and a move to New Orleans.) I'd be interested if it was offered (again?).

On the rare rare rare occasion I go to church (usually it's when I visit my folks and can't get out of it), the handbell choir is the only thing I find of genuine interest. Such cool sounds.

What's the difference between a bass trombone and a chain saw?

1. Vibrato, though you can minimize this difference by holding the chain saw very still.

2. It's easier to improvise on a chainsaw.

Phillippe Bastille:

Thanks Bryce, from a fellow high school trombonist
Avatar 2:56pm
Bryce:

“I decided to evoke the mood and feeling of inner Earth by using only instruments played in low registers. Eliminating all strings, I utilized an orchestra of woodwinds and brass, with a large percussion section and many harps. But the truly unique feature of this score is the inclusion of five organs, one large Cathedral and four electronic. These organs were used in many adroit ways to suggest ascent and descent, as well as the mystery of Atlantis. For the scene involving the dangerous serpent, I resurrected an obsolete medieval instrument called a serpent, which has been dropped from contemporary orchestras."
