i'll tell you truthfully: you play the kind of music i love to hear, but hear rarely on air. many thanks.
Avatar 8:40pm
Linda Lee:

i don't do spotify or similar. i still want human beings to turn me on! :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:40pm
KimSorise:

Oh Linda - Thank you so very much. You have no idea how joyous that is to hear. I do put some work in to find these jazz records that mean so very much to me; I am humbled.
Avatar 8:41pm
Linda Lee:

that's comes through, for sure. the love, the time, the caring. & that ain't coming through an algorithm! :-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42pm
KimSorise:

I had a client send me a Spotify list to reference the feel for an event she was planning - I had to ask for a top 10 list: I, too, do not use Spotify or anything like that.

Linda Lee:

i don't know why the convenience factor doesn't excite me especially, but i listen to music *primarily* as a way to get to know my fellow creatures & so, what's chosen on purpose, from sound generation to sound curation, is the key!
Avatar 8:46pm
Linda Lee:

i think all someone's life & history of listening goes into those choices. i like having a look-see through the music.
Avatar 8:47pm
Linda Lee:

it's not about what i like. it's about what you like. :-)

doctorjazz:

Great show, Kim (listening while getting some workdone), thanks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:50pm
KimSorise:

I could not agree more. I think experiencial choices, memories, connections often go into the musical choices I make on any given show or gig. When I am a hired gun, I can take their feeling while still taking my liberties to create an atmopshere. This show allows me to relax and release. So thank you for coming along for the ride.
