Phillippe Bastille:

My niece in Houston had a baby a month or so ago and it was killing my wife that she couldn't hold it, so my Christmas present to her was to send her off to Houston right after Christmas until Jan 2nd. You'd think being alone for that down week between Christmas and New Years would be a drag, but it was glorious!

I hope your sister has a turnaround. I remember you being worried about her for quite a while now.
Avatar 🦇 1:05pm
Julie:

oh Phillippe that sounds really nice! Everyone should spend xmas alone at least once, it can be interesting.
  1:07pm
Mr Nobody:

A nice quiet Christmas sounds amazing. I don't see that in my future for a long long time. lol
Avatar 🦇 Swag For Life Member 1:15pm
Phillippe Bastille:

@Mr, Nobody We had expected we'd have grandkids by now to fill the activity gap (my sons are 8 years apart) but nobody's stepped up yet. My guys are road racers and had just started instructing, so they wanted additional safety gear so their students wouldn't kill them. That stuff's expensive (HANS devices, firesuits, racing seats) so there was only a couple boxes for each under the tree. Unwrapping took about 10 minutes, so even when everyone was around, things went quickly.
