Thrift stores are still a good place to find demo tapes like this Strong Heart thing. I imagine they end up getting dumped by the people they were sent to, who maybe never even listened to them.

What in tarnation is going on in here?
Avatar 12:54pm
Tony Coulter:

Greets, Turnip! Very good question. If only I knew the answer!
Avatar 🥁 1:08pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

Based on the evidence, it seems we all had the same drum machine in 1993.

Stupid work schedule makes listening damn near impossible. DAMN IT!
Avatar 1:39pm
Tony Coulter:

Hey, Rich! Sorry you're not able to shake your pongi.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:44pm
Rich in Washington:

This is nuts. Able to listen for a while but never know for how long. Maybe I'll just crank it up and ignore everyone.
Avatar 1:49pm
Tony Coulter:

Crank it up. Before you know it, you'll have the office to yourself.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:59pm
Doug Schulkind:

@Tony Coulter
Darn you! You see, you are making it impossible for me to fade you down and work on my own show. A show that is airing in only four hours. (Only three hours from when your show ends and I can finally get to work.)
Avatar 2:03pm
Tony Coulter:

Apolo-thanks?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:15pm
Rich in Washington:

Wonder what happened to Weird Paul?
Avatar 2:16pm
northguineahills:

I knew a guy that performed as Bouzouki that sounded like Sheik Al-Beli Movement in FL in '94, but I'd imagine I'd known if he had used that moniker.
Avatar 2:17pm
Tony Coulter:

@ Rich: Weird Paul is actually still around! He has a youtube channel now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:18pm
Rich in Washington:

Oh! That dude! I just saw a video of him reviewing some tech thing. What was it?
Avatar 2:22pm
Tony Coulter:

Calls himself "the original vlogger." Here's his channel: www.youtube.com...
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 2:24pm
listener james from westwood:

That's one way to dodge rhyming "Atari."
Avatar 2:25pm
Tony Coulter:

Rhyming it with itself, you mean? Indeed!
Avatar 2:31pm
Tony Coulter:

I love his scratching.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 2:33pm
listener james from westwood:

Alice Cooper had already taken "We can't think of a word that rhymes!"
I remember after I first heard scratching, I looked in my room for my childhood record player, to no avail. I did have a "Love Potion No. 9" 45 I was going to sacrifice to the cause.
Avatar 2:38pm
Tony Coulter:

IMO, 'Weird Paul" is actually the least weird of today's three artists/groups. He was a pretty clever and funny teen, if you ask me.
Avatar 2:39pm
Tony Coulter:

Or let's say his weirdness was more self aware.
Avatar 2:49pm
Tony Coulter:

On next week's show: "Normal Paul."
