	10:45am Mark Williams: Linda Lee - this is a Sound Dimension instrumental. Name escapes me. Winston Francis did "California Dreaming" before that. This now is Jerry Jones, an American singer who was in Kingston for a while. She did a lot of covers, and I think this is one.

	10:54am Mark Williams: the observation I have about this is that in 1977, Studio One was living off its old reputation. All these tracks are about 6-8 years old at this point. The "new" Jamaican music of 1977 was vastly different and reflected the rawness of the poverty and political warfare on the streets at the time.

The "new" Jamaican music of 1977 was vastly different and reflected the rawness of the poverty and political warfare on the streets at the time.
